Introduction: Figs grow 30 to 40 feet tall. The bark is thick and smooth and prickly gray with a reddish tinge. The wood is gray in color and the tips of the leaves are narrow and three-veined. Figs of different countries vary from region to region.

Location: Figs are grown in different countries of the world including Bangladesh.

Colour: Figs are green when unripe and greenish or yellowish when ripe.

Taste: Figs are fleshy when raw and have a very sweet taste when ripe.

Flavour: Ripe fig aroma.

Dosage: 4 to 12 figs can be consumed.
