Are Ants Attracted to a Specific Type of Sugar, If you do that, the ants will not stick to the sugar

Keeping sugary things in the house is like disaster. Ants take hold wherever they are kept. As a solution to this problem, many people wrap the sweet food in a polythene packet and store it in a container with a tight lid. Someone put the pot back in the fridge. But many people may not know that there are some simple home remedies, which can be used to keep the sugar bowl anywhere in the house. Ants will not catch.

Let's take a look at the important methods...

lemon peel

Just as the smell of sugar or food attracts ants, there are certain smells that these animals cannot tolerate at all. For example, lemon peel. Place a piece of lemon peel in a bowl of sugar. Change it every 2-3 days. Ant groups will not even come near the edge of the sugar bowl.

bay leaf

Place a bay leaf in the sugar bowl. Change it every 4-5 days. Ants will not even come near the sugar bowl because of the smell of bay leaves.

cinnamon

Ants cannot tolerate the smell of cinnamon. So put one or two medium sized pieces of cinnamon in a bowl of sugar. A group of ants will not even come near the sugar bowl because of the smell of cinnamon.

cloves

Place a clove or two in the sugar bowl. Change it every 4-5 days. Clove-scented ants won't grab sugar bowls.
