Side effects: Generally Cefixime is helpful. The side effects that are seen in the clinical trial are mostly mild and temporary.
Disease response (GIT): Diarrhea (if it is fatal, should stop using the Cefixime, change in the color of the toilet, vomiting, abdominal pain, indigestion.
Central nervous system (CNS) response: Headaches can be swollen.
Other responses: Hypersensitivity response that is healing when the treatment is stopped. Hematologic reaction that is very rare and increases the amounts of serum amyelage.
Incompetence: Those who have hyperactivity in Cephalosporin medicines.
Caution: Those who have problems with digestion, especially if there are colitis, Cefixime should be used with caution. Only patients who have serious problems with adolescence may need to change the level.
During pregnancy and during breastfeeding: It is better to avoid taking Cefixime during pregnancy and breastfeeding because there is no clinical information in this case.
In case of the elderly: No special caution is required.

পার্শ্ব প্রতিক্রিয়া : সাধারণতঃ সেফিক্সিম সুসহনীয়। যে সব পার্শ্ব প্রতিক্রিয়া ক্লিনিক্যাল ট্রায়ালে দেখা গেছে তার অধিকাংশই মৃদু প্রকৃতির এবং ক্ষণস্থায়ী।
পরিপাকতন্ত্রে (GIT) প্রতিক্রিয়াঃ ডায়রিয়া (যদি মারাত্মক আকার ধারণ করে তবে সেফিক্সিম সেবন বন্ধ করা উচিত), পায়খানার রং পরিবর্তন, বমিবমি ভাব, পেটে ব্যথা, অজীর্ণতা।
কেন্দ্রীয় স্নায়ুতন্ত্রে (CNS) প্রতিক্রিয়াঃ মাথা ব্যথা, ঝিমুনী হতে পারে।
অন্যান্য প্রতিক্রিয়াঃ অতি সংবেদনশীল (Hypersensitivity) প্রতিক্রিয়া যা চিকিৎসা বন্ধ করা হলে প্রশমিত হয়। হেমাটোলজিক্যাল প্রতিক্রিয়া যা খুবই বিরল এবং সিরামে অ্যামাইলেজ এর পরিমাণ বৃদ্ধি পাওয়া।
অনুপযোগিতা : যাদের সেফালোস্পোরিন জাতীয় ওষুধে অতিসংবেদনশীলতা আছে।
সাবধানতা : যাদের পরিপাকতন্ত্রে সমস্যা আছে বিশেষ করে কোলাইটিস থাকলে সেফিক্সিম সাবধানতার সাথে ব্যবহার করা উচিত। যে সব রোগীর বৃক্কের কার্যক্ষমতায় মারাত্মক সমস্যা আছে শুধুমাত্র তাদের ক্ষেত্রেই মাত্রা পরিবর্তন করার প্রয়োজন হতে পারে।
গর্ভাবস্থায় এবং স্তন্যদানকালে : গর্ভকালীন অবস্থায় এবং স্তন্যদানকালে সেফিক্সিম গ্রহণে বিরত থাকাই ভাল কেননা এক্ষেত্রে তেমন কোন ক্লিনিক্যাল তথ্য নেই।
বয়স্কদের ক্ষেত্রে : কোন বিশেষ সাবধানতার প্রয়োজন নেই।
শিশুদের ক্ষেত্রে : ১২ বছরের কম অথবা ৫০ কেজির চেয়ে কম ওজনের শিশুদের ক্ষেত্রে দৈনিক ৮ মি.গ্রা. প্রতি কেজিতে হিসাবে সেব্য।
