Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina mourns the death of Soumitra Chatterjee

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has expressed deep grief over the death of legendary West Bengal actor Soumitra Chatterjee. He breathed his last at 12:15 pm on Sunday at Bellevue Hospital in Kolkata.

In a condolence message, Sheikh Hasina said, "The death of this talented artist has created a huge void in the world of acting. Soumitra Chatterjee will live in the hearts of the people through his creative work. '

The Prime Minister wished peace to the soul of the deceased and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members.
